Research and teaching at the University of Lucerne focus on topics related to humans and society. The University of Lucerne is the youngest university in Switzerland. Founded in 2000, it comprises the six faculties of Theology, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, Economics and Management, Health Sciences and Medicine, and Behavioural Sciences and Psychology, and has around 3'000 students.
